Unfortunately, accidents can happen at the worst of times, knowing this we introduced three different coverage options to make car hire with OCR Car Rentals a breeze. These aren’t insurance options, as all our vehicles come insured. These options reduce the amount you’d be liable for (out of pocket cost) should there be loss or damage to the vehicle you’ve rented.
All our vehicles come with a Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) option by default, this option reduces the liability from the cost of the vehicle down to $5,000.00. To use this option, We only take credit cards for this option; debit cards and cash are not accepted.
If you’d like to reduce your potential exposure (amount you’d be liable for damage to the vehicles) this is one of the two options we offer, this offer reduces you from the Standard Excess of $5,000.00 to $500.
Our zero excess is our best coverage option, it offers you peace of mind whilst you’re out and about travelling. This is our only option that covers things like windows & tyres.
